Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend – mine was filled with pizza and meeting Chicago Bulls Legend, Scottie Pippen thanks to a special invite by Giordano’s Famous Chicago Pizza to celebrate their newest Glenview, Illinois location opening. For those who are not familiar with the Chicago burbs, Glenview is located 12 miles northwest of downtown Chicago.

Giordano’s treated us to a lovely evening of deep dish pizza, basketball, and Scottie and Larsa Pippen! The night started with tasting all of their different types of pizzas, salads and appetizers. Since deep dish pizzas are heavy to begin with, my favorite is their plain cheese deep dish. With the right amount of sauce and crust, they have the best pizza in the city of Chicago, hands down. If you are a toppings fan, you simply can’t go wrong with their classic pepperoni or sausage deep dish. Their menu is full of healthy alternatives such as their Giordano’s House Salad that includes spring greens, romaine, arugula, baby heirloom tomatoes, radicchio and fresh fennel tossed in a light lemon vinaigrette with shaved asiago blend or my personal favorite, their Original Chicago Chopped Salad which includes crisp lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, scallions, red cabbage, pasta, peas, blue cheese and honey mustard dressing.

After indulging on the delicious food, they held a basketball shootout with the one and only Chicago Bulls legend, Scottie Pippen. His game was on point and shot multiple dunks with the crowd. Besides watching this legend play, it was even better to meet him in person and his wife, former Real Housewives of Miami star, Larsa Pippen.
